Lower Twin Lakes at Bridgeport Campground

This is Lower Twin Lakes near Bridgeport, not Twin Lakes at Mammoth Lakes

Be Bear Aware; Keep all food out of sight in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle (windows up). All ice chests must be stored and remove all food from area after eating always keep a clean camp and do not feed any wildlife.

Reserved Sites will be held until checkout time (NOON) the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of the second day to hold a reservation, or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Please call the office at 760-932-7092 if you need to inform the campground of an arrival greater than 24 hours after your arrival date, or if you will not use your reservation whatsoever. This campground also has FCFS (First Come First Serve- non reservation) sites. Reservations are site specific. Changing campsites after arrival is prohibited and will require cancelling the original reservation and paying cash/check for the desired campsite at the time of occupancy. Once your reservation start date has begun, neither Recreation.gov contact center nor the campground host/manager will be able to modify the reservation (change sites).

One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per tent site is included in your reservation. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground. Extra vehicle must fit on the parking spur at the site.

PETS: All pets must be kept on a leash and under their owner's control at all times. Aggressive or disruptive pets are not permitted. For the safety and enjoyment of all campers, management reserves the right to require an aggressive pet to the leave the campground.

Pass Discounts: If you use a pass discount you must provide your pass and photo identification upon check in or upon Camp Host request. If you received a pass discount for which you weren't eligible you must pay the difference in price upon arrival.

Fire Restrictions may be imposed at any time due to; hot, dry weather conditions or red flag warnings at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. Please check with Camp Host.

Single campsites have a 6-person max. If there are more than 6 people in your campsite, please purchase two (2) sites, spread your group and equipment out evenly between campsites. This is to protect natural resources and minimize noise levels. Double sites have a 12-person max. Triple sites have an 18-person max.

Water disposal- Do not dump grey water on the ground or at the water spigots.

Falling objects - don't linger under dead, cracked, or broken branches. Run if you hear cracks or snapping from tree roots, trunks, or branches (know that sometimes there is no sound or very little time to react). Report falling branches or trees to a Ranger.

Do not build additional fire rings. Glass, aluminum, and food are prohibited in fire rings. Logs must fit within the fire ring. Chainsaws are not allowed. Fires must be extinguished completely with water and be cool to the touch before leaving the campsite or going to bed.
