What counts as a drop?
A drop is a real availability change our scanner detected: a permit date that was not bookable on one scan and was bookable on the next. We only count actual changes between scans, never a plain "spots exist" snapshot.
Why is this delayed?
Everything here is at least 15 minutes old, and detection speed is shown as a range (like "1-5 min") instead of an exact time. Paid watchers get alerts the moment a change is detected — this public feed is intentionally slower so tracking a permit yourself is still the fastest way to act on an opening.
How do I get faster alerts?
Track a permit and we scan it continuously — about every minute on paid plans, hourly on free — and alert you by push, SMS, and email the moment a real change is detected, with no 15-minute delay.
Why do some rows show "Still open" instead of a duration?
That means the date was still bookable as of our most recent scan. We only show a duration once a later scan actually confirms the date is no longer available — we never estimate or guess how long an opening lasts.
