Point Supreme Campground

RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES & NO-SHOWS: If your plans change, please update or cancel your reservation through Recreation.gov or by calling (877) 444-6777. Cancellation and service fees may apply. Reservations that are not occupied by 11:00 a.m. the morning following the scheduled arrival date may be canceled as a no-show, including multiple-night reservations. If you will not be using your campsite, please cancel your reservation as soon as possible so the site may be made available to other campers.

CAMPSITE USE: Each campsite is limited to two camping structures in any combination (e.g., RV and tent or two tents). Vehicles and trailers must park within your assigned site’s designated parking area. All camping equipment must remain within your site boundary and must not extend into the roadway or onto any vegetation. Please contact the camp host with questions about site setup or capacity.

QUIET HOURS AND GENERATOR USE: Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–8:00 AM. Excessive noise (over 60 decibels) is not permitted at any time. Generators use hours are 8:00–10:00 AM and 6:00–8:00 PM.

DON'T MOVE FIREWOOD: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site.

OVERNIGHT CAMPING USE: Campsites are intended for overnight camping use. Please reserve campsites only when planning to actively occupy and use the site during your stay.

DAY USE AREA: The picnic pavilion is available for free, first-come, first-served day use when not reserved for group events. Visitors are encouraged to use designated day-use areas for non-overnight activities.

ENTRANCE PASSES: A valid entrance pass is required in addition to campground fees. Site specific passes and America the Beautiful passes may be purchased upon arrival or in advance through Recreation.gov . America the Beautiful Senior and Access passes receive a 50% discount.

CAMPGROUND SEASON DATES: Campground opening and closing dates are subject to change and may vary based on weather conditions. Opening and/or closing may occur earlier or later than posted dates.

WEATHER & SAFETY: Expect cooler, variable weather. Summer highs average 60–70°F, and nighttime lows often drop to 30–40°F. High elevation may cause shortness of breath or fatigue—move slowly, rest often, and drink plenty of water. Increased UV exposure is common; wear sun protection. Afternoon thunderstorms are frequent—seek shelter and avoid exposed areas during storms.

RESOURCE PROTECTION: Please stay on designated trails to help protect meadows and wildflowers. Do not pick or disturb plants. All plants, animals, and natural features are protected by federal law and must be left undisturbed.

PETS: Pets must be leashed and attended at all times. Pets are not permitted in park buildings or on unpaved trails. The only pet-friendly trail is the paved Sunset Trail. Service animals are welcome.

WILDLIFE & HUNTING: Feeding wildlife is prohibited and may result in fines. Hunting is prohibited within the park.
